Dallas

Wyatt, Susan, Amy & Myself at a Park

This is my favorite one of mine!!!

Daniel had so much fun with Oliver & Seth!! This is my fav of all of the cousins.

So this past weekend we traveled to Dallas to see both of my sisters. My older siter, Amy, lives in Canada so we see her about every other year. We had a great time. Just not long enough. Daniel and Oliver (9) and Seth (almost 5) had a great time playing and getting to know each other. Of course Taylor couldn't get enough of Wyatt. We all had fun and had a few photo opportunities. Daniel left our hotel saying "Next time, I'm going to Canada!". It was quite cute.

As excited as I was to begin a blog, I kinda fizzled out. My excuse was, I don't have a digital camera that I could take pictures and put them on my blog. Ok, that was a good excuse up until December 25, when my (awesome) husband got me my camera that I had been hinting, well actually, begging for. Then, life just got in the way and I still didn't blog. Hopefully, that is going to change. I will post pictures later today.

I do know that I will become a Great Aunt once more today. This will be my 3rd time to become one. Corey & Fallon will be welcoming Baby Brennon today. Well, that is the plan anyway. They induced her this morning so hopefully it won't be a long labor for her. My nephew Adam and his wife, Amanda, had a baby girl about 6 weeks ago, her name is Nimue and she is beautiful.

Austin is on the count down, only about 50 more school days for him. How sad is that?!?!? Taylor is excited. She will be going to Dallas to visit Susan during spring break. BY HERSELF ON AN AIRPLANE!!!! For those of you that know Taylor, you know what a big step that is for her. She goes NOWHERE by herself. I am praying for a great experience for her! Daniel just finished up his basketball season for the year and is about to begin baseball. He has never played before. This should be an experience.

Frankie is continuing to work on our garage. It is huge and I will post a picture or tow of it as well. The 2nd floor will be an apartment for Austin after he graduates. Then Daniel will move upstairs to have a bedroom of his own. Complete with a closet and everything!!! He is so excited.

Last week was Homcoming at FHS. The theme was "Decades". The sophmores were the 80's which was kinda funny dressing Taylor because it didn't seem that "funny" to me. Those were MY days!! This is her friend Hannah in this picture with her and Hannah again with Austin - the last day of Homecoming is the traditional Senior Toga Day.

Mississippi State Fair

Last Monday, we took Daniel and Taylor to the fair. Daniel had a blast. We ran into a friend of his from school, Nick, and they were able to ride some rides together. There is nothing quite like the fair, I love it while it is here but really glad that it only comes once a year! I am posting some pictures of our time there. Daniel LOVED the Pirate Ship, I think that had to be his favorite ride of all. He rode it 6 times at least! I am very thankful that Taylor agreed to go so I didn't have to ride the Pirate Ship 6 times!! He also did the "bungee Jump" thingy and tried his best to turn a flip but I don't think he weighed enough to make himself get on over.

Can You Believe It????

Well, here it is! I am only about 5 years behind my sisters, but, yes, the Tadlocks are finally on the web!! I have enjoyed daily looking at their posts and pictures and now, I hope our blog will be of interest. I love taking pictures, some are good and some, well, not too good. I will be posting those as well. I will start this off by introducing you to my wonderful family.

I have been married for 20 years to my high school sweetheart, Frankie, and we have 3 precious kids. Our oldest is Austin and he a 17 year old senior :(. He loves anything outdoors, fishing, mud riding...anything that has to do with hunting, he loves. Then we have a 15 year old daughter, Taylor. She is a great kid and I think she has a good, (not to mention, pretty) head on her shoulders. She is pretty much an inside girl , nothing to make her sweat! She loves her music and her friends. Then our last sweet little bundle of joy is Daniel! He is just the greatest little guy! Loves to do anything with his older brother, loves SpongeBob and Scooby Doo. He also plays soccer and is a pretty darn good basketball player!
